Billy Filibus Care Foundation (BFCF) is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC RN: 172457) in Nigeria as a non–governmental, not–for–profit and non–political organisation. Its primary focus is providing care, knowledge, and empowerment for the purpose of wealth creation. This is achieved through training for skills acquisition that will lead to job opportunities for the unemployed. The Foundation has seven trustees whose duties include custodianship of the organisation’s assets and oversight of its general management.
The organisation’s founders are seasoned professionals who came together to mobilise resources for community and grassroots development. The trustees with the governing body of the organisation are certified recipients of 2022 Basic Business Training (BBT) by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
The Foundation is currently engaged in mobilising youth to reduce dependency on erratic forms of income and hand-to-mouth survival. Through skills acquisition, self-reliance and security will replace the uncertainty of how to meet the needs of a daily existence with provision for a stable future.
The organisation is sustained by contributions of funds and time in the form of grants, donations from organizations and individuals, and community participation through volunteer activities.
